I build production web applications in Next.js and TypeScript at WaveZync, remote from Sri Lanka, and run Celynnex, a studio shipping point-of-sale and commerce software for businesses back home. Design came first, and six years of it still shapes everything I ship.

Currently engineering at WaveZync from Sri Lanka, remote to the US, and building the Celynnex studio on the side. Second Class Honours in Software Engineering, an IEEE paper on LLM tooling for Sri Lankan SMEs, and four hackathon finishes I still argue about.

  • A full rebuild of a WooCommerce storefront onto TanStack Start and Cloudflare Workers, structured as a monorepo with shared UI, payments and core packages. Lab results are published per batch, so a customer can trace what they are buying.

  • An editorial commerce site for a fashion label, with a virtual try-on and a back office the studio runs the catalogue from. Next.js over Supabase, with media on S3 and the storefront localised through next-intl.

  • Cross-platform desktop point of sale in Tauri and Rust, with a ShadCN interface and real-time sync through Supabase so the shop floor and back office never disagree. Rentals are first-class alongside sales: deposits, due dates and returns are tracked through the same till.

  • A point of sale for a bakery and cafe, where inventory is produced in-house rather than purchased. Recipes, production runs and counter sales draw on one stock model, so baking and selling stay in step. Built on TanStack Start with a Tauri shell for the counter.

About me

I came into software through design. Years of poster layouts, AIESEC marketing collateral and brand work taught me to care about how a thing reads before it ships. Then I learned to build it myself, which turned out to be the more interesting half.

At WaveZync I work across the stack: Next.js and TypeScript on the front, Supabase and serverless data underneath, GitHub Actions keeping it honest. Outside of that I take on product work through Celynnex, mostly for businesses in Sri Lanka who need something better than a spreadsheet.

Lately most of my curiosity goes into applied machine learning and LLM tooling. That is where the IEEE paper came from, and where the next few side projects are headed.

about the name

It started as an in-game name.

PUBG first, then Apex Legends, then whatever else was being played that year. It was only ever meant to be a tag on a scoreboard.

It stuck. It is the handle on GitHub, on Instagram, and on most other places I keep an account, which makes it the name a fair number of people know me by. So the site carries it too.
